On the evening of May 23rd in Notting Hill, fashion professionals, creatives, and even a few socialites came together for a rooftop gathering focused on sustainable style, wellbeing, and British craftsmanship.
Hosted by Fashion Roundtable and Aja Botanicals, the Chelsea Flower Week celebration unfolded on the garden rooftop of GOLD, one of West London’s most stylish venues. Guests in attendance included Jo Wood, Camilla Rutherford, Sascha Bailey, and several members of the Mountbatten family — making it not just fashionable, but quietly star-studded.
The event was a blend of luxury and purpose. Guests were welcomed by the calming scent of British-made botanical candles, surrounded by floral installations created by young florist ARRANGED, and treated to natural dyeing demonstrations by The Secret Dyery. British botanical cocktails and Apres Provence rosé set the mood as the sun went down over Notting Hill.
Organiser Tamara Cincik, founder of Fashion Roundtable, shared her vision for what she calls a “Creative Wellbeing Economy” — a new approach to fashion that combines storytelling, sustainability, and systemic change.
“We believe in a future where creative practice, wellbeing, and economic growth are intertwined,” Cincik said. “Tonight was a step toward that vision.”
Highlights included garments from The King’s Foundation’s Modern Artisan collection, crafted with natural dyes and heritage techniques, and a look at the Great British Wool Revival — an initiative supporting local farmers and boosting fiber sovereignty in the UK.
Looking ahead, Fashion Roundtable also announced a Wool Conference at Dumfries House in 2026, a Best of British fashion showcase, and a travelling living museum designed to bring hands-on craft education to underserved communities.
The evening wasn’t just about beauty — it was about building a future where craft, community and creativity work hand in hand.
